Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic is in New York today where he is attending a UN ministerial conference. The gathering was organized to mark the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Jeremic attends UN conference A Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement issued in Belgrade said that foreign ministers from the countries that signed the treaty in 1970 were all taking part in the conference. The treaty was signed by all UN member-states except Italy, Pakistan, Israel and North Korea. While in New York, Jeremic will also hold a number of bilateral meetings with his counterparts from around the world, and will inform them about the process of determining the future status of Kosovo and Metohija, the statement said.

A Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement issued in Belgrade said that foreign ministers from the countries that signed the treaty in 1970 were all taking part in the conference.
