Belgian Ambassador to Serbia Denise De Hauwere will on Tuesday travel to the south of Serbia, B92 has learned. “The ambassador will speak with presidents of the municipalities of Bujanovac and Presevo Shaip Kamberi and Ragmi Mustafa, their associates and leaders of (ethnic) Albanian parties,” Bujanovac Municipal President Cabinet chief Enis Salihu told B92. Belgian ambassador to visit south Unofficially, the meeting will discuss the fact that over 400 ethnic Albanians from the area have recently requested asylum in Belgium. They made this move after the EU lifted its visa regime previously imposed on the Serbian citizens. All requests for asylum have been denied by Belgium. Eight buses with about 400 asylum seekers will leave Belgium on Wednesday, bringing them back Serbia, that is, to Bujanovac and Presevo, B92’s source claims.

Unofficially, the meeting will discuss the fact that over 400 ethnic Albanians from the area have recently requested asylum in Belgium.

They made this move after the EU lifted its visa regime previously imposed on the Serbian citizens.
