Zannier: Situation in Kosovo stable

UNMIK Chief Lamberto Zannier said at the UN Security Council session that the situation in Kosovo is peaceful and stable. However, he said that there is a possibility of destabilization in the north. The U.S. stated that Kosovo is strengthening relations with neighboring countries and that it is ready to take on a significant role in the region, while Chinese officials said that Beijing respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia in Kosovo.
