Minister for Kosovo Goran Bogdanovic said that the government is committed in its fight for Kosovo and strengthening the economy of the Serb community. He repeated that the only legitimate local self-administration in Kosovo is made up of the people that were elected by Serbian law during the May 11, 2008 elections, but added that his ministry will take care of all Serbs living in Kosovo. The Serbian government has also set aside significant funds aimed at helping the unemployed in Kosovo, with some EUR 5,000-6,000 for every unemployed person from the state, to be used in the right way and to help open up new jobs, he said.
