EC's Mirel to visit Belgrade

European Commission (EC) Director for Western Balkans Pierre Mirel will arrive here on a two-day working visit on Thursday. As a part of an improved constant dialogue between the EU and Serbia, Mirel will discuss the progress made in reforms in certain sectors, it was announced. EC's Mirel to visit Belgrade The topics will include work force movements, social cooperation and development of human resources. At the same time, Mirel will talk to his hosts about decentralized management of the EU funds, which seen as preparation for Serbia’s direct management of those funds. During his visit, the EC director for Western Balkans will speak at the opening of a conference dedicated to the place of the region's countries in the EU, organized by the European Youth Initiative for Human Rights.
