The Dutch still believe that Serbia is not fully cooperating with the Hague Tribunal, ruling DS official Dragoljub Micunovic says. Micunovic was on a visit to the Netherlands and that country's parliament, as the head of the Serbian parliament's Foreign Policy Committee. "Netherlands won't change its position" "The talks were successful, but the positions of the two sides regarding Belgrade's cooperation with the tribunal in The Hague remain different," he said. Serbia maintains that it is cooperating fully, while the Netherlands denies that. "Cooperation and goals are being mixed up here," commented Micunovic. "Obviously all the goals of the Hague Tribunal will not have been achieved until Ratko Mladic and Goran Hadzic have been arrested, but that doesn’t mean that we are not fully cooperating with the tribunal, in all the elements. The chief prosecutor's report to the Security Council testified to that," believes the veteran DS MP. "It's about the key word – are we cooperating – and it's important for it to be clarified – when we say we are, it means that we are showing a maximum of willingness and activity to achieve that goal, and they are saying that the goal has not been achieved. You can't tell someone they're not working because they haven't finished working," continued Micunovic. Dutch parliament Foreign Policy Committee head Henk Jan Ormel stated that Mladic's arrest and full cooperation with the Hague Tribunal are issues related to respecting the rules for EU's enlargement. According to him, the Dutch parliament is insisting on the arrest of Mladic "not because we have something against Serbia, but because we believe that rules must be respected, and one of these rules is full cooperation with the Hague Tribunal". The Netherlands has been blocking the ratification of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA), which Brussels and Belgrade signed a year and a half ago.
