Barrot commends judicial reforms “Since we are awaiting Serbia with open arms and open doors, we want Serbia to join us along with the rest of the Balkan countries. We want Serbia to come to us after going through all the efforts for fighting crime, dealing with war crimes and rooting out organized crime, because today’s organized crime does not pay attention to borders,” Barrot said. Vazic and Vukcevic informed Barrot about Serbia's progress and in which way the country is combating organized crimes and war crimes. “This visit is also a moment to remind ourselves about how important it is to persevere in the war crimes trials, as one of the main prerequisites for becoming a better and healthier society one day,” Vazic said. “I think that this visit, besides the fact that it recognizes our work, it also support the fact that we are on the right path, the path that leads Serbia towards Europe,” Vukcevic said.
