Serbia, Hungary, Croatia set for ministerial meeting The trilateral meeting idea was accepted with pleasure, Jeremic said, addressing a joint news conference on Thursday evening. Regarding the talks in Budapest that day, great attention was devoted to the western Balkans and where and at what pace the region is heading, Jeremic said. The western Balkans is moving toward full integration with the European Union, Jeremic said, and both sides are benefiting from that. During the talks with his hosts, which were preparatory to a visit by Serbian President Boris Tadic to Budapest on October 12 and 13, the two sides agreed on all key questions, the Serbian minister said. Addressing the media, Balazs said relations between Hungary and Serbia are "excellent", and that both sides are attempting to make them "even better". The few outstanding issues were also discussed, Balazs said, but much more about the tasks and plans, and the processes in the region. The Serbian minister was received by Hungarian President Laszlo Solyom, and he also met with the Hungarian parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee chair Zsolt Nemeth.
