Kosovo Ministry Secretary of State Oliver Ivanovic says that, besides the agreement between MUP and EULEX, two further technical agreements are being prepared. "Following the police agreement with EULEX, agreements on customs and the judiciary will also be on the table, because EULEX has the police, customs and the judicial component within its jurisdiction," Ivanovic said in a statement for Tanjug. Two more agreements with EULEX in pipeline “The administrative crossings in northern Kosovo will be covered by the agreement that is being prepared, and on that the Finance Ministry and the Customs Administration are working on, on the one hand, while the EULEX customs component is handling preparations on the other,“ the state secretary explained. Ivanovic underscored that the agreement between the Interior Ministry and EULEX had been based on the same principle, and that the general idea was that the other two agreements would be signed on the same grounds subsequently. “All three agreements are technical in nature and have no political connotation,“ he said, underscoring that the other two documents would not be discussed before the police agreement was signed.
