Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic has denied reports that he ever suggested partition as a possible solution for the Kosovo problem. “In this particular case, it is obvious that attempts have been made to put words into my mouth that I never said,” underscored Jeremic, after a meeting with the Turkish foreign minister. Jeremic denies suggesting Kosovo partition He reiterated that Serbia favored a compromise solution for Kosovo's future status, one that was in keeping with the Serbian Constitution, and confirmed by the will of the people.
