PM Mirko Cvetkovic says his Greek counterpart Kostas Karamnlis has offered his country's full support over the visa and interim trade deal issues with the EU. Cvetkovic, who was in Athens to attend the opening of the Acropolis Museum, said after a meeting with high ranking Greek and Cypriot officials that they expressed the continuity of the two countries' policy on the issue of the Kosovo Albanian unilateral independence declaration. Cvetkovic gets Greek counterpart's backing Greece and Cyprus repeated that they would not recognize this proclamation, and voiced their support for Serbia's policy. "During the meeting with Karamanlis we also spoke about economic topics, and we agreed to activate work on the realization of the Hellenic Plan for the Balkans, to be financed by the Greek government," Cvetkovic revealed. According to him Serbia will call a tender in July to select contractors to build a 15-kilometer stretch on the southern Corridor 10 highway, to be financed from this Greek project with some EUR 87mn. This subject will be further discussed as Greek President Karolos Papoulias visits Belgrade on July 2, said Cvetkovic. During his visit to Athens, the prime minister is accompanied by Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic and Culture Minister Nebojsa Bradic.

Greece and Cyprus repeated that they would not recognize this proclamation, and voiced their support for Serbia's policy.
