PUPS whip Momo Colakovic says that his party could enter a coalition with the Serb Progressive Party (SNS) in Zemun. Colakovic said that PUPS would try to help form a local authority in Zemun, Vozdovac and Kosjeric within the framework of the SPS-PUPS-JS coalition. PUPS could join SNS in Zemun Local elections were held in Belgrade on June 7. If the plans fall through, PUPS could negotiate independently with all political parties who won seats in these three municipalities and who accept the principles of social justice that the party stands for, Colakovic said. He said that there had not been negotiations with any parties as yet. “We have tasked PUPS City Board Chairman Milan Krkobabic to talk with the municipal committees and with potential partners for forming local governments,” he said. Colakovic said that he hoped that negotiations would begin this week.
