Rasim Ljajic says all new information is being checked in regard to search for the two remaining Hague indictees Ratko Mladic and Goran Hadzic. This information cannot, however, be made public, the president of the National Council for Hague Cooperation told reporters in Belgrade on Saturday, reiterating that Serbia will complete its cooperation with the tribunal by the end of this year. Ljajic: Dutch reaction as expected The report of Chief Hague Prosecutor Serge Brammertz and the stand of the Netherlands were expected, he stated. It was likely to happen that the Netherlands would maintain its initial position regardless of Brammertz’s report, Ljajic said. "Unfortunately, it all happened within the boundaries of the expected, and I expected them to do it for their internal political reasons, however, it is not our place to debate and enter a new verbal clash, but to persuade them that we're doing everything." Brammertz's report will also be helpful in bilateral contacts with the Netherlands, as that country remains alone in its stand that Serbia is not cooperating fully with the Hague, he noted. Ljajic emphasized that the positive reports of Brammertz and the State Department on cooperation with the tribunal would help Serbia work in forthcoming operational activities "with less international and political pressure".
