A dispute over customs at the administrative crossings with Kosovo has once again brought to the fore the issue of the six-point plan implementation. Belgrade daily Politika writes today that the government has not reached any additional agreements or deals with the EU mission in the province, EULEX, regarding the procedures at the Jarinje and Brnjak checkpoints in the north. Belgrade, EULEX "in customs dispute" This was announced by the Ministry for Kosovo and Metohija, which reacted after EULEX customs spokeswoman Alexandra George's statement for the daily, when she said that "EULEX has an arrangement with Belgrade on this issue". The ministry says this is "only about confirming the previously concluded, existing protocols with UNMIK, in line with [UNSC] Resolution 1244". EULEX told Politika that the agreement with Belgrade was in place "since the government of Serbia agreed with the UN secretary-general's Kosovo report dated November 24 of last year, about the establishment of checkpoints controlled by international customs personnel".
