Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic said in Lovcenac today that Montenegrins who live in Serbia must respect Serbia and invest in its development. The Montenegrin president added that Serbia was not a foreign country to them, but that they should maintain their national identity. Vujanovic: Serbs aren’t aliens “Montenegrins are not aliens in Serbia and it is not a foreign country for them, just as Serbs are not aliens in Montenegro and it is not a foreign country for them,” Vujanovic said, addressing a rally in front of the headquarters of the Montenegrin Krstas association. Vujanovic told the Montenegrins that they should respect their adopted state and invest in its development for the sake of good relations between the two countries, stressing that they must preserve their national identity, which officials in Podgorica would help them do.

“Montenegrins are not aliens in Serbia and it is not a foreign country for them, just as Serbs are not aliens in Montenegro and it is not a foreign country for them,” Vujanović said, addressing a rally in front of the headquarters of the Montenegrin Krstaš association.

Vujanović told the Montenegrins that they should respect their adopted state and invest in its development for the sake of good relations between the two countries, stressing that they must preserve their national identity, which officials in Podgorica would help them do.
