Minister without Portfolio Sulejman Ugljanin says that there is no evidence to suggest that the rights of Muslims in Serbia are being violated. Ugljanin called on Grand Mufti and leader of the Islamic Community in Bosnia-Herzegovina Mustafa Ceric, to resolve any disputes he may have through dialogue with his counterpart in the Islamic Community of Serbia, Adem Zilkic. Ugljanin: Muslim rights respected in Serbia In response to Ceric’s statement that Serbia was violating human rights, especially with regards to the Muslim community, Ugljanin, himself a Muslim, said that Bosniaks from Sandzak “should and will not be anyone’s bargaining chip.” “I do not know the reasons or the motives for Ceric’s statements, but if he has noticed any rights being violated, he should sit down with his colleague Zilkic and draw his attention to them in a friendly manner,” Ugljanin said.

In response to Cerić’s statement that Serbia was violating human rights, especially with regards to the Muslim community, Ugljanin, himself a Muslim, said that Bosniaks from Sandžak “should and will not be anyone’s bargaining chip.”

“I do not know the reasons or the motives for Cerić’s statements, but if he has noticed any rights being violated, he should sit down with his colleague Zilkić and draw his attention to them in a friendly manner,” Ugljanin said.
