The Serbian Army (VS) and police (MUP) units on Thursday successfully carried out a joint tactical exercise. The Army said in a press release that the exercise, dubbed Borovac 09, focused on security along the administrative line with Kosovo and on control of the Ground Safety Zone (GSZ) in the same area. Army, police hold joint tactical exercise The exercise which took place near Bujanovac saw participation of the members of the VS Land Forces 4th Brigade, Special Brigade, Military Police 3rd Battalion, MUP Gendarmerie and Vranje Police Directorate (PU) officers.
