We will continue to closely cooperate with the UN, but in a completely different format to the UNMIK mission until now," he told Pristina's RTK television outlet on Monday. Hyseni also stated that UNMIK is now obsolete, with almost all of its powers transferred to "Kosovo's institutions and EULEX", and that for this reason he believes this UN mission has no reason to exist. He also spoke about the six-point plan to say that it was a "part of the UN and Serbia activities", and that "Kosovo's institutions have spoken against it". Hyseni reminded that the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's report in November last year stated that the Kosovo institutions representatives were against the plan. He confirmed that he would "represent Kosovo" at the forthcoming UN SC session set to debate the latest Ban report by the end of this month. Hyseni added that he will "speak about the progress made in Kosovo since the independence declaration".
