The government recommended to public companies that they confirm the method for determining the maximum possible wages for management. According to the government’s official website, the public companies should confirm the criteria based on which managers can receive bonuses, which cannot be greater for the year than four times the monthly salary. The government must also approve such bonuses. Recommendations for public companies announced Every act must be given to the government by March 31 at the latest, according to the announcement, which was signed by First Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dacic. The public companies are being called on to confirm the criteria for using presentation funds, and also the right to use company vehicles, business and credit cards meant for paying the costs of presentation, as well as the conditions for using apartments which the company owns. All basic acts of the company, including regulations which define the level of earnings and cost of representation must always be available to the public. The government also called on the ministries which the public companies fall under, to follow the implementation of these recommendations and to return the yearly business programs that have not been harmonizes with the recommendations back to the company in order to have another attempt at meeting the prescribed standards.
