Dačić to handle coalition trouble

Socialist Party (SPS) leader Ivica Dacic will be meeting with his coalition partner Dragan Markovic to "resolve misunderstandings", a newspaper writes. Markovic, known as Palma, heads United Serbia (JS). The Socialists last spring teamed up with him and another party for a pre-election coalition, to then form the ruling coalition and government along with a number of other coalitions and parties. Dacic to handle coalition trouble Now Vecernje Novosti newspaper reports that Dacic – interior minister and first deputy to PM Mirko Cvetkovic – will agree with Markovic that the two SPS ministers whose dismissal he had requested will not go. According to the report, not only will Education Minsiter Zarko Obradovic and Energy Minister Petar Skundric keep their jobs, but the SPS-JS parliament caucus also looks to remain intact. Unofficially, Markovic wanted the pair dismissed in a bid to "milk more money" for his hometown of Jagodina, where he is mayor.

According to the report, not only will Education Minsiter Žarko Obradović and Energy Minister Petar Škundrić keep their jobs, but the SPS-JS parliament caucus also looks to remain intact.
