Serb Progressive Party (SNS) leader Tomislav Nikolic is ready to propose electoral cooperation to Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) leader Vojislav Kostunica. This would involve forming a joint electoral list and even agreeing on a possible distribution of ministries in advance. Nikolic eager for cooperation with Kostunica "I want us finally to be honest with each other. I am ready for us to include all parties and individuals that he proposes. Just so that we can win, and show how Serbia can be run both democratically and nationally," Nikolic told Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti on Wednesday. Asked whether he thought Kostunica would accept this offer, the SNS leader said time would tell. "We have very similar ideas, it is just that he (Kostunica) has failed to carry them through," Nikolic replied. "April will be one of the most critical months," Nikolic said, pointing out that elections could be held in the summer. Asked whether a grand coalition of the SNS and the Democratic Party was possible after the elections, he replied that a “limiting factor for that option“ was that he would have to ask President Boris Tadic to “ditch a lot of people.“ “That’s why it would be difficult to make a government with him,“ the SNS leader added. He said that he did not fear Radical leader Vojislav Seselj’s return or coming face-to-face with him. “I hope to God he does come back. I have no more feelings towards him. The Radicals will only be physically stronger when Seselj returns. Ideologically, he’s already in parliament. I will never speak to him again, but nor will I hate him. Asked whether he thought Koštunica would accept this offer, the SNS leader said time would tell. "We have very similar ideas, it is just that he (Koštunica) has failed to carry them through," Nikolić replied.

He said that he did not fear Radical leader Vojislav Šešelj’s return or coming face-to-face with him.
