A strong explosion was heard Saturday evening at around 20:00 CET in northern Kosovska Mitrovica. It was followed by another, an hour later. Two blasts in K. Members of the KPS, he said, were still searching the area, "but are yet to find traces of the explosion". The residents of the mixed Serb-Albanian neighborhood are said to have been upset by the detonation. A road passes through the area that leads to two flashpoints of ethnic incidents: the Serb village of Suvi Do, and the Albanian village of Vidomiric.
