The Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) believes that Belgrade should reexamine its participation in NATO's Partnership for Peace (PfP) outreach program. This, party leader and two times Serbian premier Vojislav Kostunica said in a statement sent to Beta news agency on Saturday, is because the western military alliance is "building an Albanian army on Serbian territory". "Disband KSF, or freeze PfP status" Kostunica was referring to the recently established Kosovo Security Forces, KSF. After the authorities in Belgrade agreed to have EULEX deploy in Kosovo, NATO and KFOR "no longer pay any attention to Serbia, and are implementing the Ahtisaari plan openly, building a Kosovo army", he continued. UNSCR 1244, he added, was "obligating international missions to disarm Albanian terrorists and separatist", while today, "NATO is making and arming Kosovo's army". "Should NATO ignore Serbia's demand to have the Kosovo army disbanded immediately, the Serbian parliament must make its position on further participation, that is, on freezing of Serbia's status within the Partnership for Peace," said Kostunica.
