DSS spokesman Andreja Mladenovic says the speaker lied when she said that a parliamentary session was rescheduled on Saturday because of MPs' illness. He told B92 that the real reason was the fact the ruling coalition did not reach an agreement regarding voting in the parliament. DSS spokesman: Speaker lied Mladenovic added that the parliamentary debate showed that the government does not have answers for key questions, and that it no longer has a majority in parliament. “The speaker lied to the country saying that MPs are sick. Who is sick? They will now find doctors’ notes to show us, just as they voted from Bodrum," he said in reference to a parliamentary scandal several years ago that involved Democratic Party (DS) lawmakers. "Maybe someone will apologize for this, but we were all lied to on Saturday. Why not simply say it: we do not have a majority in parliament,” Mladenovic continued. He added that the government’s policies towards Kosovo are "completely wrong", because it should not have allowed the deployment of EULEX. Mladenovic also addressed the issue of Serbian ambassadors proposed by the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) still serving even though the party does not support the policies of the current government. “We talked with our members who are ambassadors, there are not many of them, and that is a personal decision whether they want to implement the policies of the government or not. The party does not implement its politics through the ambassadors that are its members, this does not occur in any country,” Mladenovic said. He added that the initiative submitted by the DSS for a cabinet no-confidence vote in parliament has helped open many questions that the government has been avoiding. However, Mladenovic explained that the opposition is not obligated to secure a quorum for holding a session even to address that issue.
