"Belgrade EULEX conditions acceptable in general"

Slovenian Miroslav Luci says that Serbia's conditions for the deployment of EULEX in Kosovo are "acceptable in general". In an interview with Tanjug, Luci expressed belief that the UN Security Council would reach a decision on this by the end of November. Over the past few days, officials in Belgrade have reiterated that EULEX would be acceptable to Serbia if it were status neutral, if it did not implement Ahtisaari's plan and if deployed according to a UN Security Council decision. "I think that this is acceptable. It is simply necessary to find a solution within UN Security Council Resolution 1244 and that for EULEX to be deployed with the backing of the entire population of Kosovo," Luci stated.
