UNMIK has moved out of its head office in Priština after a nine-year stay to the former premises of the Yugoslav Army’s (VJ) Priština Corps HQ.

UNMIK has moved out of its head office in Pristina after a nine-year stay to the former premises of the Yugoslav Army’s (VJ) Pristina Corps HQ. UNMIK Chief Lamberto Zannier and his colleagues are moving to to the UN mission’s logistical base, which lies between Pristina and Kosovo Field, while the EULEX mission will move into UNMIK’s old premises. UNMIK move to former VJ premises It has also been announced that there will be no further press conferences given by UNMIK and other international organizations, that had been a permanent feature every Wednesday for the last nine years. Reconfiguration of the UNMIK mission is currently under way in Kosovo, which has seen reductions in the mission’s manpower, a section of which has gone over to EULEX control.
