Krkobabic said that the city was already working on improving infrastructure and making conditions easier for investors to enter the Serbian market. “Potential investors will be able to receive all construction licenses in a short time period and in one location, while public purchasing will be brought together at city level and subject to strict control and transparency,” the deputy mayor said. “Also, the opposition’s participation on the boards of public companies and public competitions for directors in those companies show that this city government has decided to take a positive step in the right direction,” he added. Kacin agreed that these were positive steps, adding that they would be included in the report he would be submitting to the European Parliament, added the statement.
