Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic will meet Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice during his visit to the U.S. Jeremic will visit the United States as part of activities to promote Serbia’s initiative at the UN General Assembly to ask the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for its judgment on Kosovo’s independence, the Foreign Ministry states. Jeremic to meet with Rice During his talks with Rice, Jeremic will repeat Serbia’s clear position that Kosovo’s unilateral declaration of independence is unacceptable and will present her with elements of Serbia’s legal initiative before the UN General Assembly. At yesterday’s cabinet meeting, the government gave special authorization to Jeremic to meet the U.S. secretary of state, which is in accordance with the provisions of the Action Plan adopted by the previous government, added the ministry. Jeremić to meet with Rice
