The Hungarian FM says that her country supports the ratification of the Stabilization and Association with Serbia. Foreign Minister Kinga Goncz told Novi Sad daily Dnevnik that the Serbian government has at the very beginning of its work shown significant results in completion of the cooperation with the Hague Tribunal. Hungary supports Serbia over SAA She added that the interim trade agreeement between the EU and Serbia should come into force immediately, and said that Hungary would advocate its enforcement at the meeting of Committee of Permanent Representatives of the EU countries in Brussels tomorrow. Goncz, however, reminded that an unanimous decision of the EU Council of Ministers was needed to adopt the agreement. She said that Hungary “would do its best” to help Serbia’s European integration during its EU presidency in the first half of 2010.
