According to unconfirmed reports, almost all the ministries have been divided between the coalitions gathered round the DS and the SPS. The only question mark hangs over the position of parliamentary speaker. Unofficial: DS, SPS agree on division of spoils In the next few days, it should be decided whether the position will go to G17 Plus or to the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS). B92 has learned that the most serious candidate for this position is G17 Plus Vice President Suzana Grubjesic. This proves that even though the SPS and the Democratic Party (DS) have been claiming otherwise, some sort of negotiations are taking place. Even though at one point, G17 Plus leader Mladjan Dinkic suggested that former Speaker Predrag Markovic could return to the post, that proposal has been shelved, with DS leader Boris Tadic offering the position to Grubjesic. G17 Plus claimed that talks might begin in the next couple of days, but that the party was ready to take that position, if an agreement was reached. However, if the speaker position goes to the SPS, the contenders would include Milutin Mrkonjic or Branko Ruzic, although the favorite would be party Vice-President Slavica Djukic Dejanovic. If the SPS receives the post of speaker, then the party will, instead of four, hold three ministries: the interior, education and infrastructure, while the Ministry of Science would go to G17 Plus. Nonetheless, the official distribution of ministries will need to wait for so-called official talks on forming the new government between the DS and the SPS to begin. B92 has learnt that Serbia’s new prime minister will be senior DS official and Finance Minister Mirko Cvetkovic, while his first deputy, and most probably interior minister, will be SPS leader Ivica Dacic.

Bure baruta pred eksplozijom: Počinje veliki rat?

Bliski istok, zbog promene ravnoteže snaga i dubokih kriza, pre svega palestinsko-izraelske, može se smatrati buretom baruta i ima potencijal da dovede ne samo do regionalnog sukoba, već i do globalnog konflikta.
