Man detained denies he's Župljanin

A man arrested today in Pancevo, near Belgrade, believed to be Stojan Zupljanin, says his name is Branislav Vukadin. The suspect's lawyer Igor Pantelic has confirmed that the person the police (MUP) have in their custody denied that he is the war crimes fugitive. Man detained denies he's Zupljanin A MUP team has, in the lawyer's presence, taken fingerprints and blood samples from the man detained, in order to positively determine his identity. Pantelic says that the results will arrive in the morning. B92 has learned that, at the moment of his arrest, the suspect had personal identification documents issued to the name of Branislav Vukadin, but MUP is yet to announce whether the IDs were forged. This, however, it was reported, "has nothing to do with his eventual extradition to the Hague".
