Socialists: Govt. before legal deadline In an interview with Belgrade's Ekonomist magazine, Mrkonjic said that the SPS-PUPS-JS coalition supports the ratification of the Stabilization and Association Agreement and EU integration, stating that “without Europe there is no development.” Mrkonjic said that a coalition with the Democratic Party (DS) “could be reached in one night, but there are prerequisites and conditions" for entering a government with this ticket. “The prerequisite is to stop the persecution of the Milosevic family and to free former RTS director Dragoljub Milanovic. The condition for entering into the government is that our program must be realized, especially when we are talking about infrastructure and pensions,” said Mrkonjic. He promised that, if it were up to him to decide, “there will no ministers from the SPS that is not the best in their field.” Milutin Mrkonjic (FoNet)
