The so-called road map for scrapping the visa regime for Serbian citizens will be presented in Belgrade on May 7 during the visit of EC V-P Jacques Barrot. While signing of the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA) remains uncertain, there is reliable information that, after the May Day holiday, Serbia will receive its instructions for entering the Schengen White List. EC to present visa "road map" on May 7 Head of the Government’s Office for EU Integration Tanja Miscevic told B92 that Serbia had already met some of the conditions. “Some of the key laws mentioned in this ‘road map’ are the Law on Travel Documents that has already been adopted, the Law on Asylum has already been processed, while the Law on Foreigners and the Law on Frontiers are in parliament, which means they have been adopted by the government,” she explained. Miscevic said that Serbia still had a lot of work to do before reaching the White List, and that the European Commission (EC) had very high expectations.

Head of the Government’s Office for EU Integration Tanja Miščević told B92 that Serbia had already met some of the conditions.
