President Boris Tadic, DS, this morning received a copy of an agreement proposed to UNMIK. The document was taken to Pristina over the weekend by Minister for Kosovo Slobodan Samardzic, DSS. Tadic receives draft UNMIK deal A statement from Tadic's cabinet said the agreement was sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this morning, and was forwarded to the president. Earlier today, reports saud Tadic was "not familiar with the contents of the plan sent by the Kosovo Ministry to UNMIK". A statement from the president’s cabinet was given to B92, confirming that Samardzic had not made Tadic aware of the existence of the plan he sent to UNMIK Deputy Chief Larry Rossin, "much less inform him of the details". On March 17, Tadic asked Samardzic to report on the situation in northern Kosovska Mitrovica, but the minister failed to inform the president that he had given any kind of plan to UNMIK on that occasion. He said that it should immediately be established what kind of a plan this was—a plan that neither the government nor the president had any idea about – and whether it was a case of Democratic Party of Serbia, DSS, ministers "pursuing their own party agenda". The president called for reports from all security services and a report from UNMIK on the events that took place in northern Kosovska Mitrovica on March 17.
