Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica has repeated that Serbia will enter the EU only with Kosovo as its province. And while students in Belgrade demand continued European integration, and Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic says this is a priority, Kostunica continues to rock the boat. Kostunica: EU membership only with Kosovo He said today that “instead of being divided over the question of EU membership, what’s most important for us, as a state and people, is that we define our aim together, which is that Serbia can be a member of three of what are, for us, the most important international organizations: the UN, the OSCE and the EU.“ The prime minister said that the overwhelming majority of citizens and the bulk of parliamentary parties supported a united state and national policy, according to which Kosovo was a constituent and integral part of Serbia. Serbia is a member of the UN as an intact state, while the fake state that is Kosovo will never ever be allowed into the UN, he said, reiterating that the same applied to the OSCE. “On the basis of this united state and national policy, an intact Serbia, with Kosovo, can be an EU member. We want to join the EU, but the EU needs to say that it wants an intact, uncrippled Serbia within its ranks,“ underlined Kostunica. Vojislav Kostunica (FoNet, archive)
