Meanwhile, Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica said yesterday that the only mission Serbia recognized in Kosovo was UNMIK, not EULEX. "The legality that is preserved in Kosovo is contained in Resolution 1244 and the UNMIK civil mission stemming from the resolution." Kostunica said. The prime minister said that only the UNMIK Mission was based on law, while everything else was illegal for Serbia and it would oppose it. Asked about the dispatch of the EULEX mission to Kosovo, Kostunica said that Serbia would urge the UNMIK mission to continue to function in the province in keeping with Resolution 1244, and that it is should reinforce and expand.
