Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica's cabinet met today in Belgrade in a regular session. The government adopted the decision to form Serbia’s legal team before international courts regarding the illegal and unilateral declaration of independence by the province of Kosovo. The ministers also passed the bill on professional rehabilitation and employment of persons with disabilities, the government website said. The decree on the distribution and use of incentive funds for rural development through investment in rural tourism for 2008 was also adopted at the session. The government gave consent to the decision made by the management board of public power corporation EPS for determining the price of electricity for tariff consumers. According to the decision, starting March 1, 2008, the price will go up by 7.6 percent on average. Although Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic announced earlier he had support for his move to stop payment of the Kosovo part of Serbia's foreign debt, the proposal was raised at the session, but dismissed as contrary to the state policy on Kosovo, adopted by the cabinet and approved in parliament.
