The Hungarian coalition yesterday called on its supporters to back Boris Tadic in Sunday’s presidential vote. The call is the fruit of a series of talks with the Democratic Party (DS) candidate and other leading party officials, said President of the Union of Vojvodina Hungarians Istvan Pastor. Hungarian coalition to back Tadic “We see Tadic as the only candidate that can be our long-term political partner in achieving our aims, as defined by the Hungarian coalition’s election manifesto,“ said Pastor. He added that after the elections, it had been agreed to open talks on what jointly needed to be done, in order to implement those aims in the foreseeable future.
