Presidential hopeful Tomislav Nikolic says war crimes fugitives wanted by the Hague will no longer fear arrest if he is elected. "My victory will mean that Serbia will join the defense of those who are facing the Hague Tribunal. Those who are now fearing they may be caught, will have no reason for that," Nikolic, who is deputy leader of the Serb Radical Party (SRS) said in a Christmas Eve ceremony conducted in Zemun, Belgrade. Nikolic: No Hague extraditions The party leader, Vojislav Seselj, is in detention at the UN tribunal, undergoing trial charged with war crimes. But today Nikolic told the remaining fugitives to "hang in there just a little longer," to then proceed and wish Serbians a happy Christmas. "I wish that we find peace, understanding and unity, that there is much more love among people, more peace in the world, that skin color, religion or language that we speak does not divide us," said Nikolic as his campaign continued today.

The party leader, Vojislav Šešelj, is in detention at the UN tribunal, undergoing trial charged with war crimes.
