Oliver Dulic says that the ruling coalition is “the least stable since the days of the Democratic Opposition of Serbia.” In an interview with daily Gradjanski List, the parliamentary speaker expressed his confidence that, in 2008, the problems within the coalition would “be resolved so that it will continue to implement certain key parts of the manifesto around which it was formed.” "Most unstable coalition since DOS" “Or, maybe, a new governing coalition will be formed. Or, we’ll have elections. I think after the elections, once we know Kosovo’s status, will be the right time to draw a line, and that relations within the coalition will finally reach a much healthier level,” said Dulic. He was confident that a compromise solution would be found for the Kosovo problem that would be acceptable to both the Serbian and Albanian sides, though he added that he expected that “no-one would ever put it before the process of European integration and improving the standard of living.” The speaker said that it was “unacceptable for the country to enter isolation at the end of the Kosovo process,” adding that he thought that there were “no obstacles to signing the Stabilization and Association Agreement with the EU” in Serbia. Dulic expressed confidence that the new year would see improvements in Vojvodina too, and reiterated that the province had been allocated significant funds in the 2008 budget, which it would use to enhance infrastructure and attract new investment. “I think the real things, like accelerating the process of European integration, stabilization of life opportunities and the economy are coming in 2008,” he predicted.
