The Israeli ambassador to Belgrade, Arthur Koll, says there is no tolerance towards neo-Nazis in Serbia. Koll feels that in Subotica, the authorities have raised their voice against neo-Nazi movements and activities, adding that this was a reality on which to build a platform of zero tolerance towards such groups. Asked how he viewed efforts to equate neo-Nazism with anti-fascism, he said that it was inappropriate to compare neo-Nazism with any other phenomenon. “It doesn’t mean that other negative phenomena don’t exist, but neo-Nazism is neo-Nazism. Europe has suffered greatly because of this ideology, the Jews have suffered, the Serbs suffered during the Nazi era, and that’s a particular problem. That’s why, any attempt to compare neo-Nazism with other movements is inappropriate,“ concluded Koll.
