Veton Surroi and ethnic Albania leaders from the Presevo Valley met Sunday in Pristina. Surroi, president of ORA party and member of the Pristina negotiation team, described as "disturbing" indications that the administrative border with Kosovo might close in case of a proclamation of independence. Kosovo, Valley Albanian leaders meet Surroi met with Serbian parliament member Riza Halimi and mayors of Presevo and Bujanovac Ragmi Mustafa and Nagip Arifi. The Albanian media in Pristina quoted him as saying after the meeting that "Serbia's leaders should be certain that Kosovo will proclaim independence, but that it will make every effort to secure uninterrupted communication with both the Albanians and Serbs on both sides of the border."
