The president added that he had informed Bush and other State Department officials about Serbia's stance in the Kosovo talks during a brief meeting at a reception. "In a meeting with EU High Representative Javier Solana I said that Serbia is ready to discuss any solution, but not its territorial integrity and sovereignty, just as no other normal state in the world would," Tadic added. Speaking about his meetings with the Russian and Chinese foreign ministers, the president said both meetings "confirmed the principled positions" of China, Russia and Serbia concerning the Kosovo talks. Tadic added he was "happy with the friendly and constructive" character of those meetings.
