“Serbia, EU to initial visa agreement soon”

Speaking at a press conference after the government session held Thursday, Bubalo said the European Commission accepted Serbia's objections concerning certain provisions of the agreements.

“We have certain reservations in regards to the readmission of people who are not Serbian citizens, but entered the EU illegally through Serbia,” he said.

“We have agreed that in the case of their return to their country of residence, Serbia will only be the transit state," Bubalo said, as reported on the government web site.

The economic minister confirmed that these two agreements will soon be initialed and officially signed by the end of the year.
