Tadić and Koštunica discuss Kosovo?

According to our source, Presidential and PM cabinets have been in contact regarding this issue over the last few days. On the other hand, the Prime Minister Cabinet denies that such consultations have been taking place.

Beta quotes its source that says that members of the current negotiating team were appointed by the previous Government, which now has the caretaker status, and that the team “cannot engage in talks until the new government is formed, according to the Law”.

Such a position of the Prime Minister is opposed to the President’s who claims that the negotiating team should continue working so as to protect state and national interests in the talks on the future status of Kosovo, the Presidential cabinet confirmed.
