Fatmir Sejdiu says Kosovo Albanians are ready to engage in fresh consultations in the process mediated by Martti Ahtisaari.

Solana said Ahtisaari will present his Kosovo status proposal at the start of February, stressing that although discussions on the proposal will take place, he was unable to say what format those discussion will have.Sejdiu said that the Albanian side has “already made it clear” its “negotiating resources have been spent”.
“What‘s important for us is to continue cooperation with Ahtisaari, Contact Group and other international factors”, Sejdiu said.
Fatmir Sejdiu will meet with NATO secretary-general Jaap de Hoop Scheffer during his one-day working visit to Brussels.
