No progress made in stopping corruption

“With the NIP we have come into a situation where we are spending more than 1.6 billion euros without the passing of any laws, no confirmed procedures and no control. This plan is a scheme which is used to finance the political parties that have agreed upon it.” Barać said.

She said that the increase in corruption in Serbia has effected the purchasing of police equipment without implementing the Public Purchasing Law, the purchase of locomotives, the way in which the Republic Broadcasting Agency gave out frequencies to electronic medias, and the sale of Mobtel.

Barać said that citizens can see corruption everywhere, from the medical institutions and police to the inspection services.
