Thaci: Kosovo already independent

Kosovo Democratic party leader Hashim Thaci said that Kosovo has already gained independence.

Thaci: Kosovo already independent

“The new Serbian Constitution is a purely internal thing for the country, from which the politicians there are trying to pull out political capital. It is not a wise move, but it will not affect the discussions for the future status of Kosovo.” Thaci said.

“The Kosovo Liberation Amy was not a criminal organization, it did not commit any crimes, and there is no Kosovo Albanian who deserves to be in The Hague.” Thaci said,  adding that the investigation the Hague Tribunal is conducting into crimes allegedly committed by Kosovo Albanians against Serb civilians represents a poor decision on the part of the court.

“The kind of violence that took place in March 2004 will not repeat itself.” Thaci said, adding that there was too much exaggeration involved in the event and that the violence was not ethnically motivated to such a high extent.
