“It has been agreed that the Belgrade delegation will continue working on the paperwork involved in this deal during the next several days, and the Priština delegation will respond to the offer soon.” Dickson said.Chief of the Serbian Kosovo economic team Nenad Popović said that he expects Priština to accept the offer of help, adding that all Albanians living in those regions would gain from the move as well.
Popović said that little progress was made at the meeting, and that the Belgrade delegation proposed that Serbian experts should join the management of the Kosovo Electric Corporation and help improve the electro-energy situation in Kosovo.
He said that he will also address the question of the return of 8,000 Serbian workers to Kosovo Electric, who have been fired over the last seven years.
