Former Constitutional Court president Slobodan Vučetić said that elections on all levels can be held this year.

“With the agreement of the political parties, the election timeframe can be decreased from 45 days to 30, which would make the elections possible in December.” Vučetić told Radio Television Serbia.He said that the constitutional law should allow the dates of the elections to be confirmed freely and that it should only regulate the ability to schedule elections, in order for the parties to be able to decide after the referendum if elections will be held.
“It would not be good to adopt a constitutional law that will give conditions for a fixed period of time for holding both elections.” Vučetić said.
